I have read the 'similar' report for Inkscape 0.92 inability to save .PLT
This report relates to Inkscape 0.92.2 Windows 32x, installed using the .MSI. Additionally, the
Oct 31, 2009 - Forwarded to object is unsubscriptable I tried to install the package python-uniconvertor, but this. Image manipulation programs ii libwmf-bin 0.2.8.4-6.1 Windows metafile.
uniconvertor was downloaded as Windows 32Bit .MSI
Instruction on sk1project.net states 'Note for Windows users: UniConvertor MSI package provides standalone installation. So just install MSI package and enjoy UniConvertor 1.1.5 features!'
Once installed, and Inkscape started, a small vector was drawn, and then File Save As, and .PLT with a filename provided.
Inkscape reports 'You need to install the UniConvertor software.
For GNU/Linux: install the package python-uniconvertor.
For Windows: download it from
https://sk1project.net/modules.php?name=Products&product=uniconvertor&op=download
and install into your Inkscape's Python location'
For GNU/Linux: install the package python-uniconvertor.
For Windows: download it from
https://sk1project.net/modules.php?name=Products&product=uniconvertor&op=download
and install into your Inkscape's Python location'
The Python location appears to be the Inkscape install directory 'C:PROGRAM FILES (x86)Inkscape
as this is the location of python.exe
I then attempt top manually copy the 'Uniconvertor' files from their default install location
'C:Program Files (x86)sK1 ProjectUniConvertor-1.1.5'
into the 'C:Program Files (x86)Inkscape' folder.
This effected no change to the attempt Save As .plt
Possibly someone has a 'better' install procedure for 'Uniconvertor'?
